Training, Education and Social Services
Our members recognise that culture is fundamental to the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal people, and it is a source of strength.
Culture and country are interconnected and increasingly recognised as essential components of training, education and social support services for Aboriginal people. Wongutha CAPS is a well established and successful secondary school for Aboriginal Students and some of our other members are also participating in return to work and cultural awareness programs. There is an opportunity to expand the services our member properties can provide based on the foundations of “country and culture”. These services include rehabilitation programs for juvenile offenders, leadership, healing, and training programs.
